OCS service is randomly uninstalled

Problem's description

I have around 700 machines on OCS and from time to time some of them stop sending their inventory. When I investigated, I found out that the OCS service on the missing machines was uninstalled (isn't on the list of services.msc). It seems to happen when the OCS agent fails numerous times to reach the server (machine connected from home without our company's VPN) but I can find a common theme other than that : the agent may fail dozen of times and keep working and then stop working some time later after just 5 or 6 fails.
I've checked the agent logs on a machine where it stopped working and there is nothing there.

For now, the only workaround I'm using for now is to deploy again the OCS agent.

Hi @7octal

This doesn't seem related to OCS itself as there is no feature that would allow the agent to uninstall itself. Is the service the only component getting uninstalled?
