Oh, thats fun! The status buffer is due for a rewrite.. It's using the original buffer rendering library, unlike literally every other buffer in the plugin. But, as you can imagine, it's not a small task.. or, at least, I haven't started on it yet.

With that in mind, it would be very cool to build the status buffer in a way where there is a generic interface for sections, and then just let new sections plug-in. Should be pretty doable, and it would enable stuff like that TODO plugin to be added pretty easily. In theory at least ;)

As for sponsors... I hadn't really thought about it, to be honest. This is just something I do for fun at night after my kid goes to bed, haha. But it could be funny to see how many coffee's I can get out of it
