Unknown error when inspecting WebView in UWP app

When attempting to inspect a WebView in a UWP application, Microsoft Edge Dev Tools (Preview) shows:

Could not attach to the selected target: An unknown error occurred

• Windows 11 24H2 Professional (ARM64)
• VS 2022 Enterprise 17.12.3
• Debugging an x64 application build

Note: Tested on two ARM devices and both experience the same issue.
Looking at the .appx package it appears only artifacts for x86/x64 are included.

A number of the devs on our team are developing on an ARM device now. Would be great to get this fixed.

Thanks @leahmsft. Just to confirm though: this approach only works for WebView2 and not WebView (legacy)?

Yes, that's correct. It's recommended to use the WebView2 control instead.
