no idea what sample to download, compile error in own code

there is a sample download mentioned in the video but i have no idea which one and where to get it.

following along the steps in my own code leads to this error during compile:
Validation error. error 80080204: App manifest validation error: Line 59, Column 12, Reason: If it is not an audio background task, it is not allowed to have EntryPoint="BackgroundTasks.LiveTileUpdateBackgroundTask" without ActivatableClassId in windows.activatableClass.inProcessServer.

so, how do i get live tiles?
