The Metaculus Terms of Use states that you aren't allowed to reverse engineer the website or create derivative works off of it (in addition to a number of other things you're not allowed to do). There's a lot of similar verbiage in the Bridgewater contest rules. However, this repository (which I presume is roughly more-or-less the production website) is released under BSD 2-Clause and also has had a number of pull requests. That seemingly implies that you are allowed to both view the source code and make modifications to it.
Can someone at Metaculus please rewrite both documents (and potentially others) to remove this wording? If not, this would imply that everyone who has ever made a pull request or has even seen a glimpse of this repository is actually violating the Metaculus Terms of Use, which might even make it against the law. I am very, very troubled by this contradiction.
