Yes, avoid the use of tampermonkey, etc. I only use torntools, so I expect very few extra scripts, but those who are really useful like this one.

Since a good alternative exists, I don't think this will be added any time soon. We generally avoid making an alternative for a good working and well maintained script as otherwise we'll be doing double the work for no reason.
