Yes, I was able to disable the TAB nametag, but now I have a problem that it does not load the nametag at all.

I just installed it and it worked perfectly, after being able to solve the TAB problem, the DisplayNameTag nametag stopped appearing and restarting the server didn't fix it, nor did deleting the config or trying other versions of the server, I don't know if you can help me with that.

@phontanah Is this only for seeing your own nametag? If so the show-self option is currently unstable and should only be used for debugging, as of the latest update it's disabled by default in config.yml

If you want to share your config file for help with the groups I will give guidance

Make sure users have the correct permission node to inherit the nametag groups.
Also add a priority to each group so they sort properly
