I did some testing with 0.8.0 a few days ago, and today with 0.9.0. Here are some general issues in both (this is all windoze10, I'll test it on a linux box tomorrow):

• While doing a side-by-side video with winua I've noticed that a 320x256 window is actually not 2x2, and it ends up being 640x480. As if the missing 2x16=32 rows are being taken by the toolbar at the bottom (?).
• After minimizing the window, I couldnt un-minimize it again (clicking on taskbar, alt-tabbing to it, .. nothing worked). Also right-click (in taskbar) and select "Close window" isn't respected, probably some windoze specific system messages aren't handled.

Rebirth:

• Sprites problems are solved, but there are still some bitplane problems (first word most notably, and last word with a pixel or two). Recorded video is 0.8.0, but it's the same in 0.9.0.

GenX, almost all problems solved were solved, but there are now several regressions in 0.9.0:

• credits: bitplane first word after display window start, this also occurs in several other parts so I'll mention it only once (0.9.0 only).
• rotozom: leftmost column is not masked properly with sprites, it appears with double width (0.9.0 only).
• greetings: left/right vertical line sprites masking the bitplanes during opening and closing sequence are not visible (0.9.0 only).
• dotmorph: lower half of the Freddy sprite logo is incorrectly displayed (happens real fast, both 0.8.0 and 0.9.0).
• crossfade: lower ~third of the picture is flickering, as if the image was still being generated while being displayed. Fx speed is 4 frames or 12.5 fps, but the 4th frame is partially wrong (I was using e in VLC to go frame by frame, both 0.8.0 and 0.9.0).
• endpart: leftmost column is missing (text is clipped slightly), probably display window (both 0.8.0 and 0.9.0).
