There is a bunch of false positives when it comes to @supports. For instance,

  • Safari 10.1 doesn’t support stylistic alternates on MacOs 10.11.6;
  • Chrome reports it doesn’t support the default for font-variant-alternates while it supports historical forms;
  • Firefox Dev tells it supports font-variant-alternates but I can’t get it to work, even when hardcoding @font-feature-values;
  • font-variant-caps: unicase only works in Chrome visually;
  • historical ligatures only work in Safari…

We might have to find another solution since there are a lot of false positives at the moment.
