Font feature values + CSS variables #2

We currently have this in the CSS (line 1005).

@font-feature-values var(--font-family) {
  @stylistic {
    salt: var(--salt);
  }
  @styleset {
    styleset: var(--styleset);
  }
  @swash {
    swsh: var(--swsh);
  }
  @ornaments {
    ornm: var(--ornm);
  }
  @annotation {
    nalt: var(--nalt);
  }
}

font-feature-values exist because alternates are font-specific.

Truth is I’m completely clueless about the combo with CSS variables and whether it should work in the future or not.
