Feature Request - Tidy Front-End Tests and add to CI

Describe the feature

The FE tests currently directly call the back-end and MongoDB database, requiring the server to be running. Any calls to the back-end should be mocked out.

Once these tests can run without the back-end running, the FE tests should then be added to CI.
