List of potential queries, applications, and studies that could be done with IYP

AS-distance: using graph embedding compute the similarity of ASes in the RIS/RV topology (augmented with peeringdb? and others?). Could be useful to find 'similar ASes'. ASes in the same 'topological region'.
AS uniqueness: Reveal what is unique about an AS, what are the AS most singular properties?
Ease identification of 'suspicious' BGP updates (e.g. hijack, leaks) by looking at correspondence between ASN/prefixes in delegated files and BGP data. Could use either peeringdb or delegated data to identify sibling ASes.
Compare personal ASNs to other ASNs (eyeball?). Segregation analysis based on upstream providers? Could also find more personal ASNs if they have specific upstreams.
What are the common peers of my concurrent networks that I am not peering with? (Collaborative Filtering: https://guides.neo4j.com/sandbox/recommendations)
Place to store and share manual annotations (e.g. types of networks (NREN, VPN provider, DDoS protector))
Find the commonality between a list of ASes or prefixes. For example, I find several prefixes for north korea can I find all other prefixes.
Map ROAs 'opaque ID/signer ID/certificate' to organization/ASNs. What is the most common ASNs in BGP for a set of prefixes found in a ROA.
