Instabug-iOS SDK v7.11
Enhanced User Steps
To easily reproduce the bug reports your users have encountered and reported, Instabug automatically tracks the steps users have taken in the app before a bug is reported or a crash has occurred.
We are enhancing our User Steps making them more structured, readable; alongside with capturing more gestures so you easily collect the needed insights to solve your bugs faster. We are capturing your UI components from text to labels and bringing them associated with the bug reports for better understanding.
For iOS, we are now capturing the tap, long press, force touch, swipe, scroll and the pinch gestures.
Check out the structure of the user steps you will receive on your dashboard for iOS in our docs.
New Surveys Experience
The more you interact and collect feedback from your users the better you know what to build and how.
In-App Surveys will help you gain more insights from your users. Definitely, keeping your users away from any disruption is a key, that’s why we enhanced the in-App Surveys to provide a better, seamless experience that will increase the surveys responses through a better showing and dismissal experience.
Adding AppStore Review to NPS
NPS can help you determine user loyalty towards your app, and we enhanced it more to catch negative comments before they reach the app store by asking Passives and Detractors (1-8) users how you can improve, and easily target users who are most likely to leave five-star reviews by asking Promoters (9-10) to rate your application in the App Store and Play Store.
For more information about the in-App Surveys, check them out in our docs 😊

Better In-App Notifications📱 -> To make sure your users never miss a notification, we re-designed the in-App notifications experience. The notifications now are more prominent, interactive with a smooth in-app experience. Notifications now appear from the button of the device’s screen, providing both “Reply” and “Dismiss” options to your users for quick and interactive response.
Extended bug reports 🪲: Get more detailed, better structured bug reports from your beta testers and QA team . Now, enabling Extended bug reports brings more detailed bugs to your dashboard. Structured with steps to reproduce the problem, the actual results your testers see and the results they expected to see.
Set the Extended Bug Reports APIs and ask your testers to be as detailed as they can for better issues comprehension that leads to faster fixes.:rocket:
Bug reporting categories new experience👌: Change your bug reporting categories without releasing a new update. Now, you can define your set of categories where your users choose to categorize their reports with. Matching your application’s different sections with the reports categories will help you organize your bug reports and the feedback you receive from your users on your dashboard.
Running for both reporting bugs and suggesting feedbacks, let your product and support teams dynamically change your reports sub-categories right from the dashboard.
