Hello,
I have some video files over on ZimaOS, and specifically the video files take too long to open. This was not an issue earlier.

Its not related to the video size, even files as small as 40mb are taking forever to open.

The files take too long to download, the network speed is 1GBPS, and its running the same throughput through Openspeedtest.

But downloading a file from zimaos a 20MB file is taking over 2mins

Hi there,

I understand you’re saying that the speed of ZimaOS isn’t meeting your expectations? Could you check the speed shown in the network module on the ZimaOS homepage when you’re opening or downloading a video? Also, are you connected via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi? That might help us figure out what’s going on. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback! We have reviewed the video you provided. From our observations, it seems unrelated to network speed. Currently, we suspect it might be due to disk read/write performance. We recommend trying to replace the disk or adding a new one, then performing the same operations to test if the issue improves. Feel free to update us with any further results or questions!

Will try changing the drive and update you.
can I disconnect the older drive and replace with the new one Or will I have to rebuilt the RAID5 System?

@LinkLeong I changed the hard drive. Initially when I swapped the drive everything was fine.
