Donation Platform from Goteo

Hello team,
I want want first of to thank you for the great initiative around Goteo. I think this can help a lot to build great solutions around crowd-'sources' and we'll hope to contribute as much we can.

I am actually working on a donation platform and I think Goteo is a perfect fit. Now, I would like to replace "projects" to "donations" as users(physical, NGOs) will be able, to submit donations requests and it will go through the same process actually implemented.
This will implies to add new forms, (new data in database) etc.

I have little experience into Web Dev (and Symfony in particular).
What would you suggest as the best approaches ?

I'm sorry to see there's no response to your comment. I wonder how your project has progressed since last year. Did you end up using Goteo or a different platform?
