Gray Out Audio Icon (Mute Button) When Video Contains No Sound

Feature description

When opening a video in the gallery app's internal player, the mute button should be grayed out to indicate that there is no audio track in the video file.

Why do you want this feature?

To provide clarity when playing videos (shows there's no need to mute) or to know which videos I want to share have audio or not.
Some sites do no permit videos with sound to be uploaded, but sometimes a video may contain an audio track with no sound in it, meaning you won't hear anything when playing it but the site's systems will reject it anyways. Be able to tell without using a video editor or something will make something like this much easier, more intuitive, and more convenient.

Track information belongs in the properties dialog, but we can have this as a nicety.

A color change isn't enough to communicate a lack of sound. It'll be clearer to use a different icon when there are no audio tracks and show a "This video has no sound" toast message on tap.

I don't think you should solve that problem here. A video with audio tracks should be considered mutable by the app, regardless of the tracks' contents.

No argument here. I suggested the graying out because I figured it'd be easier than using different icons. But, if you prefer that, then I'm all for it, because it does for sure make more sense.

I think you misunderstood. The issue was I could not use the gallery app to determine if the file had an audio track or not, since just listening by ear would not be good enough to tell.
