I think usability of New event dialogue could be improved in many ways.

this dialogue has some usability issues.

First of all the "destination calendar" is at very bottom and I consider it one of most important fields on this page. E.g. I have separate google calendars for 1. "general events", 2. "weekly repeated events1" (school / work regular lessons / meetings), 3. "weekly repeated events2" (weekly sport exercises, hobbies), 4. "vacation plans", 5. "alternate vacation plans". First thing to do when I add any event is that I have to scroll to the bottom to confirm if the destination calendar for event is one which I intended. It should be one of easiest to reach items right at beginning (along with title and clock)

to save space it might make sense to combine this field with event color so that they are both on same line which has been split from the middle.

same kind of "make it vertically more compact" redesigning could be also done with some other elements. Every inch of scrolling the UI the designer should ask himself is this scrolling really necessary or could it be avoided by redesigning something (IMO).
