What Operating System

Windows 10

Debug Code

https://pste.ch/kokewovehu

Describe the bug

When attempting to install any instances of any mod pack, (Stone block 2 & 3, as well as SkyBlock 4, and multiple other mod packs)
it will begin to display installing, then display the notification "*insert mod pack name here' could not be installed due to an unknown error"

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to any mod pack and press "Install" 2. Wait for installation

Expected behaviour

I expected the mod packs to install and boot, and I am unsure of what could be wrong.

Screenshots

No response

Additional information

I have tried wiping and updating any cache data, completely uninstalled and reinstalled the FTB app, logged out and back in, and restarted my device.

I have the same issue since 2024 but on Linux. Also tried the same methods you've mentioned, including full wipe of launcher's folders and trying to download any modpack using a VPN.

Badly want to fix this so I could finally play on FTB One. FTB should just upload all of their modpacks on CurseForge already so nobody would have to deal with this bugged launcher.

Hmm, this is odd, sorry for the slow reply here.

Is this still an issue for you @WickedBuildr

Also @plusmeup I'm sorry to hear that. Have you resolved your issue or do you still have the same problem? It's likely worth noting that we are also once again publishing our modpacks to CF as well as our own app

No I've not resolved this issue. And from my side, it's worth noting that you don't have ALL of your modpacks on CF, including FTB One.

No, this is true, we do not have all of our modpacks on CF. We do have a good amount of them though. Due to the way CurseForge works, some modpacks are simply not able to be put onto CurseForge, either due to mods being removed from the platform, broken versions, disallowed pack names (Did you know we're not allowed the MC version in the pack name on CF? We didn't 😂), etc.

@plusmeup I'd be happy to try and help debug your issues. If you wanted faster replies, you can directly @ me on the discord (https://go.ftb.team/discord). @ righthuggingnow / <@196688486357663744> in our #app-support channel.
