Setting local labels for nodes

nodeid is hard to remember, would be useful if you could add label for node per id locally. Currently there is "alias" in listnodes output, but that is controlled by remote node itself and can change at any time, so is not reliable to identify node.

Does this look like a plugin job? I will take this task to explore a little bit this because sounds interesting and related to my galaxy work

+1 for plugin. This is the kind of optional, useful functionality that doesn't need to be bloating the core.

On that point, it would be really interesting if plugins could hook the responses from commands like listpeers to edit/augment the data being returned. However, I'm not sure if CLN is architected in a way to make that practical, as I suspect the JSON is serialized on the fly rather than being constructed as a mutable data structure that could be filtered through plugins prior to the final serialization pass. Edit: Upon further thought, I realized how dumb that line of thinking was. CLN plugins are out-of-process, so they'd have to deserialize and reserialize anything to edit it anyway. I don't see any practical way to do that.
