Password text is incorrect

Run DemoPassword. Enter the password "abcd" and click OK. Notice:

Password Text: "abcd"

Now return to the password field, hit "end" and add two more letters to the password, for example "ef". Click OK again and notice that the first four letters have become stars:

In a different application, the following was observed:

The text "2" was returned, even though the field contained a password.
