Deepl MacOS application login - use default browser

Hello. I'm sorry if this is not the right place to report this problem, but I couldn't find the proper way of reporting such issues. Deepl desktop app must open browser to login the user. On MacOS though, it opens Safari despite Firefox being my default browser. Is this expected behavior? Thank you.

+1. I'm so tired of this behavior. I don't use Safari at all, except for this forced use by DeepL.

And now today Cloudflare won't authorize that I'm human, so I can't log in to DeepL on Safari at all. This means I have no other way to log in. Why does DeepL insist we use Safari if we're on a Mac?
