When throwing a dye into water, it will have particles above it, signifying that it is turning into a dyed water, however you are still able to throw dyes into that water source. When this is done (usually accidentally) it will actually turn into dyed water twice. For example if I threw red dye in a water source, wait a second, and threw another, then finally throw a sand block in before the first dye has changed the water. It will momentarily turn into the correct dye block (the first dye) , then the entire block is changed into red colored water (the second dye)
Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?
This occurs on SF5.0.1
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
Throw a dye into a water source
Throw a second dye in a water source
Throw a sand block into that water source, before or just after it turns into the dyed water
