Bug Description

Using a Sophisticated Storage chest with a Compression Upgrade you can extract uncompressed items using the Mouse Tweaks scroll feature without the compressed item disappearing. The compressed item can be taken out after that.

Did this behavior used to work in the previous version?

No

If you answered Yes above...

No response

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Place down a Sophisticated Storage chest
  2. Put a Compression Upgrade in the upgrade slot
  3. Put a single 'compressed' version of an item in the top left item slot of the chest (e.g. block of gray dye, block of redstone, compressed cobblestone)
  4. Hover over the item slot containing the 'uncompressed' item (e.g. gray dye, redstone, cobblestone),
  5. Scroll the mouse wheel up (default Mouse Tweak setting) so there are a few (or all) items of the 'uncompressed' item in your inventory
  6. Click the top left item slot and put the 'compressed' version of the item in your inventory

This works with any item. Put item in any of the compressible slots, scroll it out, remove compression upgrade and item reappears. You can do it with a full stack. This can also inadvertently delete items if you scroll them into the storage and remove the compression upgrade, it will revert to the number that was there before. I'll try to get some footage later.

Confirmed this is present on versions 5.0.1 - 5.0.4 on a Server. This can be used in conjunction with certain portable storage items to dupe lots of various items at once.

The main problem I see is that this can unintentionally delete players items if they aren't aware. While testing, I was able to delete an entire stack of netherite blocks and also a backpack.
