World is frozen

I tried to pick up a chest and carry it through a portal to set up a storage system without lag but it ended up just freezing everything in my game. I can move around but I can't interact with anything and nothing is automating. No matter how many times I attempt to fix the files or disconnect and reconnect to the server nothing changes. Not sure how I can fix this because I've spent a lot of time on this world and I haven't seen anybody with the same issue.
