Why is https://github.com/Copilot-Language/copilot/blob/452ebe6d574d47362a3cdee2ee61378779fe930c/copilot-verifier/copilot-verifier.cabal#L41C6-L41C30 needed? Where is it needed?

Hm, I'm not sure why exactly that extension is needed (I wasn't the one who added it, FWIW). Experimenting locally, it appears that you can remove the extension altogether and copilot-verifier will still compile. I'd be in favor of removing it.
