Optional write access?

I was trying to use this MCP to migrate data from a SQLite DB, and it failed because of the read-only access. Claude then used curl with the http API to make it work. I wonder why you do have no way to enable write access. Running the Clickhouse DB for the MCP in a Docker container is pretty save. Besides that: How are we supposed to get any data inside the DB through the MCP?

I think this is intended for exploring the data you have in Clickhouse already—it isn't dealing with creating or modifying tables, or ingestion.

I enjoy creating new tables from other types of data with it.

In my fork, I added a READONLY flag, by default it's true, but you can set it to false to run DDL or INSERT

Similar to what I did. I think something like this should be in the official version. It is just too useful.
