The browser loading icon in the application tab is perpetually rotating.

This may or may not be an error. I believe this has to do with livereload, implemented by django-livereload-server. The most promising Stack Overflow discussion is here. I have dedicated some amount of time to fix this before and have not had much luck, growing accustom to the spinning as an indicator of my development tabs! The favicon does display correctly in the production environment. If you find a fix or a promising lead, then I would be happy to fix the favicon for development.
