JAR file error

Running the downloaded jar file from http://sourceforge.net/projects/javavulnerablelab/files/v0.2/JavaVulnerableLab.jar/download
results in the following error:

HTTP Status 500 - Unable to compile class for JSP:

I tested running with the docker option and everything is working fine..

I am having same issue and I don't want to use the docker option. please advice.
