Actually I use Scribus in tricky way for this task:

But it would be cool if Boomaga would be able not only print booklets, but also print posters too.

Expected behavior

Add option to print single page on number of smaller pages (e.g. split single A3 page to print on 2× A4 pages)

On split page clip vector paths & keep vector graphics instead of rasterize it.

This is technically possible. I'll do it, but some later.

@SokoloffA I suggest you to have a look at offline version of PosteRazor in https://posterazor.sourceforge.io/. It works flawless, at least with me till these lines are written.

Cheers, and stay safe,

PosteRazor does not support vector output — instead it always create raster output.

Boomaga should has own "Print Poster" mode which should support even vector splitting & vector output.

I just want to chime in and vote for this function.
I know it is much wanted.

PosteRazor only operates from and to raster images, so is limited in quality and use much more resources than a vector mode transform would need.

Long time ago in the KDE3(?) days i remember the printing dialogue could do it natively.
