Boomaga discontinues service under EndeavourOs. #134
Comments
sudo tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log | grep -i boomaga
|
If you can revert your installation of Ghostscript to v9.53.3 and your version of libpaper to 1.1.28, I would try that. Apparently, the most recent version of Boomaga is incompatible with the most recent version of Ghostscript. I wouldn't hold out hope for a fix. It appears that Boomaga has been orphaned and is no longer being maintained. |

Hello!
Unfortunately Boomaga 3.0.0-2 no longer works under EndeavorOs.
I have already tried several things. New installations, with Pamac and with yay, instructions like sudo cupsctl --debug-logging,
https://github.com/Boomaga/boomaga/wiki/Debugging or https://github.com/Boomaga/boomaga/wiki/Boomaga-backed,-how-it-works.
The whole process so far can be read here ( German ) :
https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/boomaga-starte-nicht-im-kde/65748/16 . This applies not only to KDE but also to XFCE.
The directory /usr/local/bin/ is empty and the directory /var/spool/boomaga/ does not exist for me.
I have no idea what else to try.
I am even toying with the idea of reinstalling the OS.
Who has similar problems and how did you solve this problem?
Many thanks in advance.
Yours sincerely, R.Lehmeier
