Compatability with other magic mods? #109
Comments
WG is not in active development anymore. 1.7 is dead to me. |
Why is 1.7 dead for you? Not all mods are ported to 1.8+ actually (ok, this is not done in a few hours not for small mods also not for big mods) so I think it's the best if u will continue on this mod. For me it works fine with only one problem ... the console/log get's spammed if I use the search field and it seems that your mod implements it. Here is an cut off it:
Please tell me if this does not comes from your mod but google toled me it comes from your mod ^^. |
What he is saying goes is that he is no longer developing this mod for 1.7, and that he has expressed no interest in writing more code for it. He did not say that nobody else is writing 1.7 mods, just not him, for this mod. |
Ok, seems that there is a small missunderstanding ^^. My question should was why @BluSunrize won't maintain this 1.7 mod with bugfixes if required? |
If there's a 'suggestions' section, sorry - I didn't see it. I'll gladly take this there, as this is really just a suggestion and not a bug.
What I'd like to see is some sort of compatibility with gemstones from other popular magic mods. A good starting point would be Ars Magica, namely by registering the Topaz, Chimerite, Moonstone, and Sunstone as valid gems for the gemcutter.
