File ex8.3_spine_vol_change.py cannot run because in wrapper.py there is an error in new on line 81:

"TypeError: super(type, obj): obj must be an instance or subtype of type"

Hi @landroa

Update the moose version to latest nightly release.

$ python3 -m pip install pymoose --user --pre --upgrade # --pre is for nightly

Then run the snippet again. Unfortunately the MOOSE release has been pending for quite a while and documentations also needs to be updated.

I tested it with version 3.2.1.dev20200519 on Ubuntu machine. If you run into trouble, let me know which OS you are using.
