Instead of using an existing virtual hard disk, try creating a brand new one

I'm also getting this same issue with making the windows VM even when creating a new disk. Here is a picture for reference.

I get this error despite having enough space for the VM

I would try and troubleshoot it yourself. I can tell you a few things you can try, like try uninstalling and reinstalling, running and creating a virtual machine as an administrator. I'm not really sure what to tell you, I never had this issue before.

  3. Turn off "Hyper-V", Windows Sandbox, Virtual machine platrfom
  4. Reboot to BIOS

It seems like it could also be a permission issue. Please uninstall it and reinstall it using Admin and still if that helps out.
