Currently generate_metadata.py wraps all output from the ICGC storage client. Which means uploads for large files seem to hang:

2016-07-29 19:57:25,264 INFO main:779 Now attempting to upload data.
2016-07-29 19:57:25,265 INFO main:780 If the upload seems to hang, it could be that the server doesn't recognize the IP.
2016-07-29 19:57:30,786 INFO registerBundleUpload:466 done registering bundle upload output_metadata/9c09bca7-8ffa-54fe-a1c9-3f8a71df515b

We need some feedback for the user so they know upload is happening.
