Quick summary

In the early hours of the day, it seems like the views go up while the uniques lag behind and catch up hours later.

Originally reported here:
wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS#24114

However this doesn't seem to be Mobile specific:

Steps to reproduce

  1. On a site with traffic
  2. Check the stats in the early hours. Views go up faster than uniques
  3. Check later - the numbers catch up

Fewer than 20% of the total website/platform users
