Ability to view all contents of a cell in the tooltip #8318
Comments
IMHO there should be a defragmentation button in the IO Port, that attempts to move each item in the attached network storage to defined spaces where applicable, the need to remove drives could be eliminated within the network itself this way, but the overall use of the io-port would still stay valid to empty drives specifically or dump stuff onto drives remotely from external attached storages PS: since i wrote it, couldn't you just configure the drive with highest priority and filter, then dump from network onto the drive for your purpose??? |
Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but wouldn't it be easier to just format the new cell for uranium and then export from your whole network onto the new cell in an IO Port? |
Describe the feature
Currently, when viewing a cell in a Drive, you can only see the first few types of items stored.
It would be nice if holding Shift would expand this tooltip to show all types stored on the cell.
Reasons why it should be considered
I'm currently trying to locate which cell my Uranium is stored in so I can take out that one cell and run it through an IO Port to get it moved over to a new cell dedicated to it.
I could just take out all 30 or so cells I have and run them through one by one, but that's a bit long and tedious just to find one item type. It also causes a bunch of craft requests to trigger from my ME Requesters as they think I'm out of their monitored items when the cells are gone. It's not a huge deal, I can just cancel the requests once the cells are back in, but it's a bit on the annoying side.
