I would like a way to get the file name of the currently applied wallpaper. I have a huge and completely unorganized library of pictures so currently if i need to find the file I have to just scroll through it until I find it. If I could get the file name then i could just search for that. Doesn't need to be anything special, just maybe the name displayed between the preview of the screens and the "Fill, Fit, Stretch, None" setting. Just as an example.

I completely agree and was about to suggest the same. Having the option to display just the file name or directory (as a checkbox setting) would be incredibly helpful. For instance, in an art collection, this feature could allow you to quickly identify details such as the artist's name, the title of the work, or the year it was created immediately.

yeah, exactly. for me it's more someone else sees my wallpaper and want me to send it to them, or I decide it's not a great wallpaper and want to delete/move it from my storage.

Do you have an idea of where you would want to see it?

The challenge is that displaying the file name as an overlay or at the top/bottom position could feel intrusive, might get overlaid by other app icons or GUI elements, and wouldn't work well when "Stretch" instead of "Fit" is selected. A better approach might be to introduce an additional widget (conveniently placed on a separate screen) that shows the last 10 applied wallpaper file names. Alternatively, this could also be implemented as a "Logs" section within the app.

I don't really care. I did in my original message suggest between the preview of the screens and the "Fill, Fit, Stretch, None" setting. But It doesn't really matter to me. I just want an easier way to locate the file than looking through my gallery until I see it. For me it could even be where I can tap on something (like maybe be preview) and it copies the file name. Because then I could just go to my file explore and paste the file name in a search. Not sure if that would work for piknockyou, though.

I don't think I'm going to implement the logs thing just because it could be kind of messy based on configuration (home, lock, both, different/same albums?). Does the name need to be immediately visible, or would it be fine to display the name when you click on the wallpaper in the album?

The latter sounds awesome.

Is this acceptable? It will hide when user zooms in and will only show when at regular scaling.
